The survey on helmet use rate of motorcyclists in the industrial zones in the Year 2014 aims mainly to exhibit the situation of helmet use of motorcyclists across several industrial areas nationwide including industrial estates or industrial zones as well as to be used as background data to monitor and evaluate the implementation of various measures within the organizations which attempt to promote higher rate of motorcycle helmet use by applying law enforcement, campaign promotion, public relations and other channels.
This survey is a joint work between the ThaiRoads Foundation and the Road Safety Watch Network in partnerships with regional universities including Thailand Accident Research Center under Asian Institute of Technology, Faculty of Engineering Chiangmai University, Faculty of Engineering Naresuan University, Institute of Engineering Suranaree University of Technology, Faculty of Logistics Burapha University, and School of Engineering and Resources Walailuk University.
